BLONSTEIN’S MTV PARTIES AT THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL ARE LEGENDARY. A LONG STANDING PARTNERSHIP as events agency WITH MTV, THEIR BRAND “MTV AT THE MOVIES” AND THE FESTIVAL ITSELF, gathered WORLD FAMOUS DESIGNERS, FILMMAKERS, ARTISTS, PERFORMERS, MUSICIANS AND DJ'S IN ORDER TO BRING TO LIFE EACH YEAR’S CHOSEN FILM. OUR EVENTS TOOK PLACE INSIDE A HOST OF BREATHTAKING COTE D’AZUR VENUES.

PIERRE CARDIN'S HOME, THE PALAIS BULLES, AN ARCHITECTURAL HOMAGE TO EVERYTHING 60’S, IN THE HILLS OF SUPER CANNES, BECAME THE PINNACLE OF OUR WORK WITH THE FESTIVAL.

WE TRANSFORMED THE HOUSE AND GROUNDS INTO A HEDONISTIC FUTURIST, VERNER PANTON EXPERIENCE, BASED ON THE WARHOL’S LOFT PARTY SCENE IN THE FILM “MIDNIGHT COWBOY”.

UNIQUELY, MTV DID NOT PARTNER WITH A FILM THAT YEAR AND BLONSTEIN WERE TASKED IN CREATING OUR OWN FILM INSPIRED BY THE UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE AND ESSENCE OF PIERRE HIMSELF. WE SHOT ON SUPER 8 INVENTING A WORLD OF GLAMOUROUS CHARACTERS, OBSESSED WITH THE SHAPE OF THE CIRCLE, WHO TRANSCENDED TODAY AND SOMETHING NOSTALGICALLY RETRO. THE FILM WAS SPLASHED LIKE WALLPAPER OVER THE ENTIRE OUTER SHELL OF THE BUILDING. 

THE WHOLE SCENE WAS ACCENTUATED WITH DRAG PERFORMANCE ARTIST JONNY WOO AND TEAM, ALL COSTUMED BY ENFANT TERRIBLE, GARETH PUGH.

THE NIGHT IS STILL BEING TALKED about BY A DREAM GUEST LIST OF A LISTERS, HOLLYWOOD DIRECTORS AND INFLUENCERS.
